How to Prepare Turkish Coffee

For two cups, boil 150 ml of filtered water in a cezve (Turkish coffee pot).

Remove the cezve from the heat and add 3 teaspoons (each 6 grams) of Turkish coffee to the boiling water, stirring well.

Add sugar to taste and stir well.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 3 minutes, or until a thick froth forms.

Remove the cezve from the heat before the coffee boils over. Repeat this step once or twice.

Spoon some froth into each coffee cup.

Pour the coffee into the cups gently to maintain the froth.
